Michael Raimondi
Producer - (He/Him)
Michael is a multi-hyphenate finance professional and maker of theatre and film. He has worked as an actor and director in independent film, television, Off-Broadway, and regionally. Michael was the Executive Director of the nonprofit theatre company, Play Your* Part, in Seattle, WA through 2020. He is a Wealth Manager for Clarus Group where he serves as a financial planner and investment advisor, specializing in helping entertainment and media professionals and the LGBTQIA+ community. He is an adjunct professor at the Lubin School of Business at Pace University, teaching Fundraising, Revenue Development, and Budgeting for the Arts to the MS/MBA in Arts & Entertainment Management candidates. Michael is a passionate advocate for queer artists and the stories they have to tell. He believes that great theatre and film can leave an indelible impression on our hearts and change our minds.
Play Your Part is dedicated to producing compelling, urgent, and wildly entertaining theatre and film, primarily centering the queer experience across the gender binary.
Sam Sommer
Social Media Manager - (He/Him)
Sam Sommer is an all-around creative with a love for new works & intimate spaces in art. After running social media for Mister Snickers of New York City, Sam is ecstatic to join the Play Your Part team and help lift various works from passionate creatives. With the belief that to live is to create, Sam hopes to bring every show involved the spotlight they truly deserve. Recent Projects: The Town with No Name (Director/Writer/Actor - 3x Nominated - LA Webfest), The Forgotten (Director/Writer/Actor). Acting Credits: A Christmas Carol (Off-Broadway), Matilda: The Musical (Beck Center), The Locked Room Mystery (Radio on the Lake Theatre). Writing Credits: Staged Reading: A Staged Reading (Baldwin Wallace University), Lies & Love (NY Winterfest), SuperZeroes (Jacksonville State University), King Ding vs the Mighty Dragon (Ouachita Baptist University), Levels of Consciousness (Playwrights Local OH).
